Credit, background, and eviction checks are the highest-stakes part of choosing a tenant—and the easiest place to create Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and fair-housing risk if they live in a separate vendor login. Manor Keeper keeps the order, the report summaries, and the decision on the same application record so you evaluate every household against the same criteria.
After an applicant consents, Pro landlords can order a credit, background, and eviction package from the application. The applicant receives instructions from the screening provider to complete identity verification. Results return as the fields the integration exposes: credit, background, and eviction summaries. Full Social Security numbers are not stored in Manor Keeper.
FCRA consent is required before a consumer report can be ordered. Applicants can consent on the apply form or later from their application. If you decline someone after a report was used, Manor Keeper shows an adverse-action notice and you can generate a templated letter naming the consumer reporting agency.
When several people apply for the same home, screening status and the three report categories appear in the side-by-side compare view next to income and the rest of the application—so you are not flipping between vendor portals to remember who cleared eviction screening.
Income verification is a separate opt-in path and is not included in this screening package.
